The ability to think, understand and move quickly conjures up thoughts of world-class athletes, champion chess players, and high-powered attorneys. And Corporate Social Responsibility professionals. To think, understand and move quickly is the definition of agility.
Over the past few months, we have seen stunning examples of agility, and the unprecedented need for it. Think. Understand. Move. These three principles are based upon a foundation of preparation and education. As I write this, I am reflecting upon the virtual Social Impact Leadership Conference (SILC) we held earlier this month (June 10-12th). We heard example after example from our clients, nonprofits, and individuals who shared stories of thinking, understanding, and moving.
Countless COVID-19 campaigns were launched in rapid response to the global pandemic. It doesn’t stop there, in an effort to be relentless in the fight for racial equality clients quickly pivoted to build and expand their social justice programs. On top of that numerous volunteerism programs have shifted to virtual. The ability of our clients to manage work duties through the rapid disruption of daily norms from the workplace to schools has been nothing short of incredible. Even showing up for a completely transformed SILC Virtual Summit with ever-present passion and enthusiasm for making incredible happen.
Agility is a necessity. It is why we preface ‘Social Impact’ with Agile – Agile Social Impact is what we aim to deliver and enable, not only for our clients but also for their employees and the nonprofits they serve.
Our commitment extends beyond our product, and our support and services, to building trusting relationships with our clients and their nonprofit partners. Our clients know that we are dedicated to continually improving our product, our support, and our services. Last fall, in this spirit we launched the new CG Help Center. A massive leap forward with over 200 knowledge base articles and ‘How to’ guides, along with an exclusive portal to interface with the client management team. Earlier this year we launched the ‘IncredibleU’ training series – to provide clients with targeted training topics, cultivating an environment of knowledge and understanding. Empowering clients to Think. Understand. Move.
At the virtual Social Impact Leadership Conference (SILC) we took another step forward, announcing our learning pathways for users who are new to CG, and those who are building advanced skills. These two pathways are supported by a series of new training modules for Grants Management, Employee Giving and Volunteerism, and Reporting and Dashboards, each consisting of training content and demonstration videos featuring CyberGrants experts.
We are kicking off the learning pathways with a track for new users, the ‘Intro’ series. Starting June 18th, and continuing through the summer, we’ll be launching the Advanced pathway training content, along with several training sessions for important new capabilities (including FrontDoor).
Our goal is for clients to not only use the product, but to understand the power of its features to enable efficiencies and growth, to think strategically for expanded reach and move with confidence to drive greater impact.
