The 2021 Social Impact Leadership Conference in Review

The chance to attend our most engaging Social Impact Leadership Conference ever may have passed but the need for your important philanthropic work isn’t going anywhere.

Energized by three days of connecting, inspiring, learning, and forward-thinking, we can’t stop talking about how incredible our client community is. You showed up ready to share, learn and grow as leaders in social impact which made the conference that much more of a success, so thank you!

Whether you attended all, some, or none of the sessions, the conference flew by in a blink of an eye, so here’s a recap to keep the momentum going and help you catch up on anything you may have missed.

IncredibleU Training

All training sessions from the conference, as well as additional IncredibleU content, can be found in the CyberGrants Help Center (Login Required). We are continually adding IncredibleU sessions to support learning for both introductory and advanced users, so please check out the IncredibleU schedule for upcoming webinars.

Welcome & Opening Remarks

CyberGrants CEO Mark Layden and his special guest kicked off Virtual SILC 2021 with a special announcement regarding a new partnership with UStrive, which virtually connects students to qualified mentors in a safe & secure environment. Check out the SILC recording library to learn more and get highlights of what's to come.

Announcements & Enhancements

The CyberGrants product team unveiled Insights+, a new offering for visualizing, exploring, and accessing data.  

CyberGrants Disbursement Solution continues to expand and adapt. We outlined several recent and upcoming enhancements that make this the most efficient and risk-managed solution for funds disbursement in the U.S. and Canada.

In addition, we reviewed several recent enhancements for which we routinely receive great feedback to ensure that all customers are aware and able to take advantage of, including; recurring credit card giving, managing multi-dimensional data in Grants with ‘Worksheets’, and volunteerism.  

FrontDoor, our solution to provide nonprofits with a consolidated experience and profile, continues to expand with more than 30,000 nonprofits engaged. And clients like you are getting value from using the data in FrontDoor.

We outlined an innovation in the matching gift process – to increase the rate at which donors giving directly to nonprofits in turn request a match. A great option to increase the visibility of your matching program(s).

Later this spring we will begin delivering a series of enhancements and expansions to watchlist scanning; providing more and new options for managing reputational risk, providing ‘industry’ specific lists, new flexibility for list scanning policies, and more.

In addition to recent Grants Management enhancements, we outlined our plans for 2021 – which supports direct feedback from both our corporate and community foundation clients.

Networking

With the CGenius Bar, topically focused meet-ups, and a trivia night there was no shortage of networking opportunities. Everyone had so much to share and discuss, they seized the opportunity to engage with the CyberGrants team and as well as each other. If you know, you know, but we all walked away feeling motivated, empowered, and excited, with a laundry list of takeaways. We are already working on some great new resources based on what we learned in these sessions!

We could go on, and on! We hope you found SILC to be engaging and productive and took advantage of the networking opportunities to expand your community. We appreciate everyone’s commitment to making the best of the virtual format. You have an incredible responsibility to enact and drive programs to change local and global communities, and we have the privilege of serving you to that end.
